The Land of Beginning Again

I’m in the land of ending

Finality - the end

Traveling to a new beginning

The land of beginning again

Tho’ my heart was broken

It wasn’t meant to last

I will not go on living

This life in its past

I tread - my head not tilted

As new days pass me by

Integrity - thoughts un-kindled

And reaching for the sky

O’ yes - I’ve learned my lesson

Now we’re only friends

I’ve traveled to a new land

The land of beginning again
