Celtic Traditions (Poetry) | Your Kiss - My Desire
You’re Kiss - My Desire
Kiss me, my love, with kisses of the mouth.
For your love is more delightful than wine.
May its myrrh go straight to my tongue - flowing gently over lips and teeth…
Your name is as perfume poured out -
Take me away with you - into an abyss of passion…
Like a lily among thorns are you among damsels -
Let us go to the countryside,
Let us spend the night in the beds of flowers;
There I will give my love to you.
Lie us awaken in the morning to see that the flowers in their blossoms have opened.
Let our first breaths be in their fragrances, and at our senses - every delicacy…
Your lips are as butterflies upon my cheek -
